Join us for the Flyfishing Opening Day Celebration at Catskill Brewery on Saturday, April 5th, 2025! This exciting event kicks off the fly fishing season with expert-led casting lessons by Theodore Gordon Flyfishers and hands-on fly tying lessons by the renowned Catskill Fly Tyers. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced angler, this day offers something for everyone looking to hone their skills and celebrate the beauty of fly fishing in the Catskill Mountains.
Later on, from 2-5pm, we will have Michael Francis McCarthy, an American roots troubadour who blends delta blues, bluegrass, early country, traditional folk, 70s jam, Bolivian folklore and thrash influences in authentic performances featuring rich guitar work, powerful vocals, fresh original material and carefully-selected deep cuts.
Enjoy a day of learning, fun, and camaraderie at one of the most iconic locations in the heart of the Catskills. Catskill Brewery provides the perfect backdrop to enjoy some of the region’s finest craft beers while connecting with fellow fly fishing enthusiasts.
