The Beginning: A Vision Brewed in the Catskills
Our journey began in 2014, when a group of avid craft beer enthusiasts and outdoor lovers decided to bring something special to the Catskills. We wanted to create a brewery that was more than just a place to drink great beer; we wanted it to be a hub of community, creativity, and sustainability. Drawing inspiration from the crystal-clear waters of the Catskill Mountains, we set out to brew beers that reflect the wild and untamed spirit of the region.

Whether you’re a hop-head or prefer a smooth, malty brew, our diverse selection of beers has something for everyone. From crisp IPAs to rich stouts and everything in between, our beers are carefully crafted with creativity and precision. Each brew is designed to capture the essence of the Catskill Mountains, whether it’s the bold flavors of a West Coast IPA or the subtle, earthy notes of our farmhouse ales.
Some of our fan favorites include:
- Ball Lightning Czech Pilsner 5.5% ABV – A crisp, refreshing Czech Pilsner made with 100% Czech Saaz Hops. An easy drinker with a firm hop finish.
- Nightshine Black Lager 5.0% ABV – A German-Style Schwarzbier. This lager is rich with roasted malt flavors of coffee, chocolate and nuts. The finish is crisp and clean making this beer great for all seasons.
- Devil’s Path Hazy IPA 7.5% ABV – Made with 100% Michigan hops. The aroma is rich and ripe with a variety of fruit flavors. The taste follows with balanced bitterness and flavors of berries, tropical fruits and pine. The finish is appropriately bitter and leaves the palate wanting more.
- Grass Wagon Session IPA 4.8% ABV – Bright and bold, this beer is a wonder. At 4.9%, this beer has surprising aroma and flavor. Dry-hopped generously with Citra and Mosaic, it’s alive with fruit character and a nice easy bitterness on the finish. It pours a hazy straw golden color with a medium off-white head.
